The Nalbandian family has been in the rug business since 1827, making Lena Nalbandian Nargozian, the fifth generation to continue with the family business.
Pictured here is Ludvig Nalbandian, Lena's great grandfather who was born in 1874 in Gesaria, Turkey. Ludvig moved to Beirut, Lebanon in 1910 and set up shop for generations to come.
In Business for 35+ Years
Lena opened her first store in Andover, MA in 1983, solely focusing on oriental rugs and repairs.
In 1992 she added a second location in Winchester, MA where she expanded her inventory to include masks & paintings.
In 2009 she moved her store to Arlington, MA and expanded her collection to include jewelry, furniture, collectibles, lamps, dinnerware and more.
